Blue Wire Earrings Pattern:
List of materials:
•I’ve used oxidized copper to create this earrings, but it can be any other wire –brass, copper, silver
•40 cm (15.74’’) of 0,6 mm wire in diameter/ 22 or 23 gauge wire – cut into 2 even pieces – 20 cm (7.87’’) each
•Around 40 cm (15.74’’) of 0,3 mm wire in diameter (28 or 29 gauge) cut into 2 even pieces – 20 cm (7.87’’) each (you will use it for wrapping the base)
•2 beads – (size – 10mm) I use blue coral.
•2 beads – (size – 6mm) – I use blue jade.
•2 copper beads (size – 3mm) – (holes should contain two 23 gauge wire!) and 2 other beads – size 2mm
• 1 pair of earwires
Before you start check, if your beads have holes big enough to be able to fit two 23 gauge wire!)
Important so please do read. I do not show how to oxidize your wires in the tutorial. In fact if you want to oxidize your copper wires, you just have to buy liquid which oxidized silver (with instructions;). I usually use such liquid to oxidize copper as well as silver. After oxidiation it is good to clean and polish your wires or the whole piece. I don’t put this information in my tutorials so if you have any questions about oxidation or about tutorial – do not hesitate to contact me!
