I’ve used oxidized copper wire and brass wire to create this earrings, but it can be any other wire–brass, copper, silver or gold-filled–combining various metals will make the pattern stand out nicely

Wire Wrapping Jewelry Tutorial:
24cm (9.44’’) of 1mm(diameter)/ 18gauge wire (I’ve used oxidized copper wire) cut into 2even pieces -12 cm (4.7’’) each
56 cm (22’’) of 0,6 mm (diameter) /22 or 23 gauge wire (I’ve used brass wire) cut into 2even pieces -28 cm (11’’) each
2,8 m (110”) of 0.3 mm (diameter) (28 or 29gauge) (I’ve used oxidized copper wire)
2beads(diameter –1 cm (0,40”)–I’ve used round mossy agate
6 copper beads (2 x 5mm (0,19”) – 2 x 4mm (0,15”)- 2 x 3 mm (0,11”)
2 Brass Bead Caps ( mine have 8 mm in diameter(0,31”) –they should be made of thin brass, because you will have to squeeze them a little bit later:)
1 pair of earwires

flat-nose pliers(they are not necessary)
Important so please do read. I do not show how to oxidize your wires in the tutorial (but then you don’t need your wires to be oxidized!). In fact if you want to oxidize your copper wires, you just have to buy liquid which oxidized silver (with instructions;). I usually use such liquid to oxidize copper as well as silver. After oxidiation it is good to clean and polish your wires or the whole piece. I don’t put this information in my tutorials so if you have any questions about oxidation or about tutorial – do not hesitate to contact me!
